Houston House of Power is the premier landing spot in Houston for AFM and DOD deletes, because it's one of the things we do most. As you probably already know, AFM and DOD are one of the biggest weak points in GM's LS and LT V8s (Gen IV & Gen V), and have been since GM introduced them nearly 20 years ago. OEM-spec delete (stock and daily drivers). A factory spec cam with no AFM or DOD, a complete set of non-DOD lifters (bullet-proof upgrades available), and a tune that keeps your vehicle running clean and reliable for years.

Stage 1 and Stage 2 cam packages. Our most popular route. A noticeable step up over stock, still street friendly and daily drivable, without the problems of AFM and DOD. These typically add upgrades like valve springs and pushrods, plus non-DOD lifters (bullet-proof upgrades available), tuned to perfection so you get the sound and performance without giving up reliability or drivability.

Full builds. For those who want the absolute most out of a cam package, naturally aspirated or boosted, we build it. We spec the cam to fit your goals while keeping drivability and reliability front and center.

If GM put AFM or DOD on it, we delete it. That runs from the Gen IV LS truck engines that introduced Active Fuel Management back around 2007, through the L99 in fifth gen Camaros and the L76 in the Pontiac G8 GT, all the way up to the current Gen V L84 and L87 running Dynamic Fuel Management. Silverados, Sierras, Tahoes, Suburbans, Escalades, Camaros, and everything in between.
