Every tune we do is built from the ground up. No patch work on top of something that already doesn't work. We start over from scratch to make sure the job gets done right, and we don't stop until it does.

At Houston House of Power, you're not paying for a few dyno pulls. You're paying for 25+ years of tuning experience.

Our dyno tunes are more than just a calibration. Every calibration is written specifically for your engine, transmission, modifications, fuel, and goals.

We optimize fuel delivery, ignition timing, idle quality, transmission shift points, and torque management for your specific combination.

On forced induction cars we make sure power delivery is smooth and the engine is reliable. You can split hairs over dyno numbers, but nothing hurts more than an engine that's broken because someone pushed it too hard.

On flex fuel setups we calibrate the full blend table so the car runs correctly on any mix you put in the tank w/ zero effort on your end. Just pump which fuel you want to run, and go!

A proper tune is the difference between a car that makes numbers on the dyno and one that actually drives great on the street. That's why so many customers choose Houston House of Power. A lot of shops and people say they can tune -- but when problems arise, they're nowhere to be found.

And yes, we do the "pops and bangs" tunes by request if you're into that sort of thing. (we aren't, but we don't mind if you are) LOL 

When you bring your car in we start with baseline pulls to see where things stand. From there we work through the calibration methodically, starting from a bone stock calibration, creating a baseline for everything you have done to the vehicle, and then dial it into perfection to get the driving characteristics and performance you expect from your setup. Usually fixing 90% of your problems on the first try.

We tune everything from stock setups with bolt ons, to heads/cam combinations, all motor builds, supercharged and turbocharged applications, E85, port injection controllers on late model LTs, to Holley setups on old schools.

But even though we'd like to say we tune it all, we don't. We specialize specifically in GM cars and trucks only. From hot rods to fresh off the showroom floor. But ONLY GM! So if you have a Ford, a Dodge, or even a Nissan, unless it has a GM motor in it, we unfortunately don't mess with it!

Tuning is priced based on your vehicle's modification level and platform. Most late model vehicles from 2016 and up require the use of tuning credits and module unlocks before we can even gain access to tuning the vehicle. Those costs are factored into your quote.
